Analysis of high school workshop and random-sample survey in Madrid

The Design Workshop is Coming Up!

Residents will have the opportunity to share their ideas for improving Madrid at a virtual design workshop hosted by the Madrid visioning committee on Tuesday, July 21. This workshop is the culmination of an input-gathering process to identify transportation needs and opportunities for enhancements in Madrid. Information collected from community surveys mailed to residents earlier this year will be incorporated into a conceptual transportation and landscape enhancement plan.

A design team will be available virtually throughout the workshop and will work on conceptual plans that meets the goals and needs of Madrid. The public is invited to drop into the virtual meeting by logging on to https://bit.ly/Madrid-Visioning. The virtual design workshop will kick-off at 12:00pm with an introduction from the design committee that will last approximately 30 minutes. From 1:00-5:00pm, the design team will design live and Madrid residents can drop in at their convenience by going to the website listed.

The virtual design workshop will conclude with a review of the preliminary designs created during the workshop. The review will start at 6:00pm and last until 6:30pm. Residents can login at the link above to watch the presentation live.
