What?

Dumont was selected to participate in Iowa’s Living Roadways Community Visioning Program of 2026. Working alongside Trees Forever we’ll be determining our core values and goals we need to focus on as a community and making a gameplan on how to accomplish said tasks. Located on this blog will be our community goals, plans, and events/meetings.

Why?

We as a community have multiple things we could use this help with. For example, improving pedestrian access and safety, improvements to the rolling prairie trail, repurposing public spaces, improving student safety, upgrading sidewalks and pedestrian infrastructure, also any other concerns our community brings to us.

What Can You Do?

We are needing volunteers for their input, using this link if you’d like to sign up and provide us with your input during the Community Focus Group meeting on the 28th of February. We are currently needing individuals that are mobility challenged, older adults, parents, youth 12 and older, youth 12 and younger, and active recreation users.
