Community Visioning: What’s Next for Denver🌱

Thanks to a year of community input, the Final Community Visioning Report is complete—and now it’s time to move from planning to action!

The Steering Committee recently met to prioritize projects to focus on in 2026, based on community feedback, readiness, and funding opportunities. Priority focus areas include:

  • First Impression 🏘️✨: City logo rebranding, a new south entrance welcome sign, and citywide wayfinding signage
  • Street Safety 🚸: A new curb ramp near the middle/high school and painted bumpouts and pedestrian crosscade signs
  • Library Beautification & Education (west side) 🌿: Low-maintenance landscaping, bioswales or rain gardens, and educational signage

These projects were presented to City Council and received unanimous support, approving the Steering Committee to move forward with pursuing grants, partnerships, fundraising, and in-kind or volunteer contributions.

Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this process. This is just the beginning—if you’re interested in helping with project development or fundraising efforts, we’d love to hear from you at denvercommunityvisioning@gmail.com. Stay tuned for updates as these ideas move forward! 👀✨

The Final Community Visioning Report Is Here! 🎉

After a full year of listening, learning, discussing, sketching, refining, and imagining — the final Denver Community Visioning Report is officially complete! 🏘️

This report is the result of numerous conversations, open houses, focus groups, design sessions, and community feedback collected throughout 2025. Together, we explored how Denver moves, gathers, grows, and connects. The final plan reflects transportation improvements and community enhancements that align with Denver’s evolving values, needs, and aspirations. 🌿🚲✨

A huge thank you to everyone who participated along the way— whether you stopped by the Farmers Market design workshop, joined a focus group, reviewed concept boards, or shared ideas with committee members. Your input directly shaped this plan, and it truly represents the community’s voice.

But while the report is final, the work is just getting started! So, what happens next? 🔧

The Steering Committee will now begin working alongside City officials to:

  • Prioritize projects
  • Explore grant and funding opportunities
  • Determine implementation timelines
  • Begin taking steps toward turning vision into reality

This moment marks an exciting transition from planning to possibility.

🌸 This is not the end — it’s the beginning. 🌱

Thank you, Denver, for your enthusiasm, creativity, and passion for the future. We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and excited for what’s ahead.

Stay tuned — progress updates will be posted as steps unfold! 💬👀
